The primary aim in crafting the 'War Fam Eagle' logo was to capture the essence of Auburn.

The logo ties in an oak tree, which not only symbolizes Auburn’s family tree but is also deep in Auburn University’s history and tradition.

Moreover, oak trees represent strength, stability, and endurance, which are some of the leading pillars at the foundation and core of Auburn University.

A soaring eagle is also included in the logo to emphasize Auburn’s battle cry, “War Eagle.”
